Atlantic Health is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and fully licensed Speech Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our award-winning inpatient rehabilitation team at Overlook Medical Center. Overlook Medical Center serves a diverse patient population, with an emphasis on Neuro diagnoses. If you have experience in Neuro, we would love to talk to you!

What Your Day Might Look Like
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adults, and geriatric populations.
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on communication strategies and swallowing precautions.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, ASHA standards, and state licensure requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university, Required (Doctoral Degree preferred).
- Licensure: New Jersey State License in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Required
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA; BLS Certification - Required
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, strongly preferred

Atlantic Rehabilitation offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, wound care management and more. All of which are provided by a highly trained staff comprised of physiatrists; internists; physician assistants; nurse practitioners; rehabilitation nurses; physical, occupational, and recreational therapists; speech-language pathologists; social workers; psychologists; vocational rehabilitation counselors; dieticians; audiologists; and care managers.
