The Family Medicine Residency Program at the Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is seeking a Family Medicine core faculty member to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview
Primary Care Teaching
- Establish a primary care practice
- Precept residents in continuity clinic and urgent care
- Further the clinic’s quality improvement efforts
- Serve as a faculty advisor to residents
- Teaching, evaluation, and curriculum development.
Optional Clinical Areas (Based on candidate interest)
- Inpatient Medicine: Teach on the resident hospitalist service
- Obstetrics: Shared call in the continuity clinic’s OB practice
- Palliative Care: Provide patient care and teaching on the Palliative Care team.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- California Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
- ABFM board certification
- Teaching experience with residents or medical students
- Excellent clinical skills, including procedures
- Commitment to working with marginalized communities
- Spanish language skills
