ABOUT AMI VASCULAR INSTITUTE

The AMI Vascular Institute specializes in a wide range of surgical and minimally invasive treatment options for peripheral arterial disease, chronic limb threatening ischemia, varicose veins, venous ulcers, uterine fibroid and infertility, vertebral augmentation, dialysis access creation and access maintenance, hepatic and renal malignancies, and a variety of other vascular conditions.

The current multidisciplinary team consists of 8 Interventional Radiologists and 5 Vascular Surgeons, spanning 6 counties in southeastern and central New Jersey. This unique multi-specialty model allows for the highest level of patient care for complex vascular disease treatment.

Unique Interventional Radiology opportunity in southern New Jersey

The Vascular Institute at AMI is seeking a well-qualified and motivated interventionalist to supplement its thriving peripheral vascular as well as interventional oncology practice.  This is a unique practice opportunity for the motivated individual who desires to provide high level complex care, true longitudinal and clinic care of patients, and share a significant role in practice building.

In addition to the 4 outpatient centers, the IR section of the group covers 3 local area hospitals, providing full interventional radiology / oncology support.

AMI is recruiting an additional IR physician to become a part of the practice to continue to provide and expand our fully integrated and comprehensive multidisciplinary care model. Our practice is very busy and performs the full range of arterial procedures including atherectomy, pedal access/interventions, infrapopliteal interventions, DVA, EVAR, carotid disease, dialysis access maintenance and creation, venous ablation, phlebectomy, and more. Additionally, the full range of complex interventional oncology procedures are offered including, but not limited to, Y90 radioembolization, thermal ablation, chemoembolization, and palliative treatments. The section is also actively involved in several ongoing research studies involving both arterial and venous disease and has a full-time dedicated research coordinator.

Expectations are that this individual will both participate in the care of patients at our clinic as well as local area hospitals.  The ideal candidate should be fellowship trained in IR and possess experience and comfort with both IO and PAD. Experience with CLI/limb salvage is a plus.

The group has a progressive history and offers full support to grow the vascular practice both at its current location and in adjacent regions.  Competitive compensation, with partnership opportunity, and excellent benefits package.

Atlantic Medical Imaging is one of the largest outpatient radiology practices in the country, with 30 locations throughout 5 counties in central and southern NJ.  The group has a progressive history and offers full support to grow the interventional practice.

Interested candidates may submit their CV's to Dr. Nicholas Petruzzi, MD, npetruzzi@aminj.com
