What you will be doing
As a Community Physiotherapist, you’ll join a warm, skilled Allied Health team that shows up with compassion, and a genuine commitment to help people stay active, independent, and connected to the life they love.
You’ll visit customers in their homes to understand their needs, create tailored care plans, and deliver services like exercise prescription, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and strength and balance programs. You’ll also regularly review progress to make sure the support continues to meet their goals.
You’ll have the flexibility to plan your own schedule, with admin time at our Gympie office, from home, or a co-working space.
We’re offering a Part-Time Permanent position (45.6 hours per fortnight, 3 weekdays per week), with the chance to make a real impact in your local community.
You will Thrive in this role if you
Are someone who sees the person behind the care plan. You’re calm under pressure, curious about better ways to help, and ready to make a real difference in your community.
You’ll also have:
- A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
- Experience with and strong interest in providing physiotherapy support to people who are ageing
- Confidence working independently and managing your time
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset, especially when working with a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence with technology and attention to detail when documenting care
- A valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle you will use for work
- First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check (or are happy to get)
