Job Description
As a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary conditions. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnosis, creating treatment plans, and educating patients on self-care and disease management. Your expertise will be essential in managing and monitoring patients with chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma, COPD, and pulmonary fibrosis.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
- Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Nurse Practitioner Requirements:
- 6 Months of Long Term Care Experience
- DEA License
- Nurse Practitioner License
- Experience in Pulmonology
