Hudson Veterinary Care is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Surgery Veterinary Technician to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Hudson Veterinary Care was established in 2021 with the mission to provide the highest quality veterinary care possible. Hudson has 5 exam rooms with doctors who excel in their abilities to provide the best treatment options to prolong the quality of life for your pet. The Hudson team learns from each other and offers mentorship and strong leadership to all staff. We provide a wide range of services and have access to boarded internal medicine specialists, cardiologist, and surgeons for more challenging cases. Surgery Veterinary Technician

Hudson Veterinary Care in Hudson, NH

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
• Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas
• Perform physical assessments and record your observations
• Prepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients
• Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
• Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 plus year veterinary experience or education
• Credentialed in the state of NH or eligible for transfer required
• Prior surgery experience required
• Team-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
