The Institute of Living (IOL), Hartford HealthCare's internationally recognized behavioral health network, is seeking a Lead Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical and administrative leadership for its comprehensive ambulatory psychiatry services.
This role includes direct patient care and program oversight across:
General Outpatient Psychiatry (preschool through age 25)
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Mary W. Parker Autism Center
Candidates with expertise or a special interest in autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatric psychopharmacology, and family-centered care are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities:
Lead a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
Collaborate with psychology, social work, family therapy, speech therapy, and case management teams.
Support program development, quality initiatives, and clinical operations.
Participate in statewide psychiatric consultation services.
Inpatient call opportunities available.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Board-certified/board-eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligibility)
Preferred:
Experience in outpatient psychiatric care and clinical leadership
Expertise in psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment
Broad experience in day-to-day operations of a comprehensive ambulatory program
Administrative leadership skills
