Behavioral Health (LCSW) Opportunity in New Roads, Louisiana

You’ll step into an integrated outpatient setting where behavioral health is part of the medical visit-not a separate silo. This is a great fit if you enjoy fast-paced collaboration, brief interventions, and meaningful follow-up care. Specialty: Integrated Behavioral Health / Outpatient Therapy (LCSW preferred).

Practice Overview

• 100% outpatient integrated care with real-time “warm handoffs” from medical providers
• You’ll work alongside two Psych NPs (med management) plus an experienced Behavioral Health Director as a resource
• Mix of traditional counseling + brief, in-the-moment interventions (including substance use triggers)
• eClinicalWorks EMR with electronic screening tools to streamline intake and documentation

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (on-site clinic model; no remote/telehealth)
• Built for work-life balance with a consistent weekday schedule
• Flexible clinical flow: no stated minimum or maximum volume expectations
• Varied day-to-day work: scheduled visits plus brief intervention opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary starting at $68,000 (range up to $78,000) plus bonus options
• Two bonus structures: encounter-based productivity and quality-based incentives
• Sign-on/relocation typically $5,000–$10,000 for candidates ready to ramp quickly
• Benefits include medical/dental/vision/long-term care, 403b with 2–4% match, 20 PTO days year 1 + 10 federal holidays, and $50,000 life & AD&D

Candidate Requirements

• LCSW strongly preferred; also open to LPC, LMFT, or newly licensed candidates depending on fit
• Must have an individual NPI number and correct taxonomy code (critical to avoid credentialing delays)
• Comfort treating across the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics) and addressing poly-substance use disorders
• CBT/DBT/EMDR experience valued; ability to supervise LMSWs/PLPCs is a plus
