Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Residences at Vantage Point to conduct an executive search for an Executive Director.
Residences at Vantage Point is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located in Columbia, Maryland, equidistant between Baltimore and DC and only 20 minutes to Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Howard County’s only Life Plan retirement community for adults age 60 and older, it opened its doors in 1990 as a natural extension of Columbia’s essential premise – that one’s life is enriched by the community in which they live. Today, the campus is home to more than 300 residents who thrive in this environment designed to maximize the best life has to offer.
Broadmead, a Quaker-guided CCRC located nearby in Cockeysville, MD, will assume management of the community effective July 1st, 2026, with a focus on preserving the core mission-aligned values. Reporting to the CEO of Broadmead, the Executive Director will develop and implement long-term strategies for quality innovation and sustainability, monitor industry trends and implement best practices in aging services, represent the community with healthcare partners, referral networks, and local organization, and support marketing and outreach to sustain occupancy and brand reputation.
The successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree (master’s highly preferred) and ideally, a minimum of seven years’ progressive leadership experience in senior living or healthcare, with at least three years in a CCRC or multilevel care setting. Our finalist will embrace a culture of wellness, inclusivity, and freedom of choice and ensure the highest quality of care and services across all areas. They will be highly visible to and interactive with residents as well as collaboratively lead a high-performing team, prioritizing mentoring and continued growth for team members.
