Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Positions Available: 2
Hours: 32 hours guaranteed per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Position Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide high-quality patient care in a structured care environment. This role involves performing complex vocational nursing duties under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager while supporting individuals receiving long-term care services.
Training Requirement
All selected candidates must complete 5 weeks of training:
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, and patient education
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Perform computer data entry (full training provided)
Deliver specialized nursing care including:
Gastrostomy tubes / enteral feedings
Foley catheter care
Tracheostomy care
Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Schedule Expectations
Alternating shifts based on staffing needs
Required to work every other weekend
32 hours per week guaranteed
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
(Items listed below are REQUIRED at time of interview)
Valid photo ID
Current TB documentation
Active Texas LVN License
Current CPR certification
Additional Requirements
COVID-19 test with negative result (provided)
Ability to pass urine drug screen and background check (candidate provides)
Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check (provided)
Minimum 1 year direct care nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
