We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Commercial Leader to drive growth across key verticals, with a primary focus on the healthcare sector. This role is responsible for building and managing relationships with major healthcare accounts, including hospital systems and large healthcare organizations.
Additionally, as the Director of National Owner and Strategic Accounts, you will set the vision for the National Owner Account (NOA) segment, develop long-term growth strategies, and lead a team of National Account Managers and marketing specialists. Your focus will be on increasing revenue and expanding specification share across Zurn Elkay's portfolio through new construction opportunities and growth within the existing installed base.
The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the healthcare industry, the buying process and how decisions are made within a healthcare system. This leader will bring a consultative approach to selling, and expertise in creating bundled solutions that meet client needs. In addition to healthcare, this role also supports other key segments such as retail, convenience stores, and commercial real estate.
Job Functions
Develop and Execute NOA Sales Strategy
Define and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the NOA segment, building strong relationships with key customer executives.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting healthcare organizations, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
Stay informed on healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends to position products effectively.
Establish ambitious objectives for revenue and specification share growth, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Deliver Results
Track key metrics, implement countermeasures when goals are at risk, and ensure consistent execution of deployment plans.
Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to deliver customized solutions that meet healthcare-specific needs.
Lead 80/20 Business Strategy
Champion and execute the company's 80/20 strategy to maximize impact and achieve NOA sales targets.
Manage and Inspire a High-Performing Team
Lead, coach, and develop National Account Managers and marketing specialists to deliver sustained growth and exceptional customer experiences.
Negotiate Strategic Agreements
Collaborate with Sales leadership to secure long-term business agreements across Zurn Elkay's full product portfolio, including digital solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of regional, national, or territory sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
5+ years experience in healthcare construction and proven relationships with major healthcare systems. Strong knowledge of healthcare building needs and compliance standards. Understanding of the GPOs and demonstrated success of building strong relationships with them
Proven success driving sales in the plumbing or water management industry
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strategic thinker with strong business insight and ability to translate vision into actionable plans
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and collaborate across teams
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Inspirational leader with a passion for delivering world-class customer experiences
Location: USA Field
Travel: 50%
The compensation range identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on compensable factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
Base Salary Range: $172,000 - $235,000
