Marshfield Medical Center offers primary, secondary, tertiary and Level II Trauma Center hospital services provided by Marshfield Clinic specialists. Emergency Medicine locations are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with physicians who provide care for acute and life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Requires:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Two years of nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire; at time of hire preferred
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
• Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location).
