Summary of the Role
Dentistry at Nahor is seeking a motivated associate dentist to provide a comprehensive range of services to our patients. In this role, you will assess dental health, perform restorative work, and handle complex procedures in a high-tech, patient-centered setting. From day one you will have a full clinical schedule, this is not a practice where you are expected to slowly build your own patient base. You will work alongside a dedicated staff and the owner-dentist to promote optimal dental care that makes a difference in our patients' lives.
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
Comprehensive Care: Perform a full range of general dentistry, including high-quality restorative work (composite fillings, crowns, and bridges).
Oral Surgery: Conduct simple and surgical extractions, including management of diseased tissue and bone.
Emergency Management: Act as the primary provider for emergency walk-ins and scheduled urgent care, performing same-day palliative or definitive treatment.
Endodontic Treatment: Perform root canal therapy; proficiency in molar endodontics is highly preferred.
Prosthodontics: Design, fit, and deliver removable and fixed prosthetics, including full and partial denture.
Diagnostic Precision: Evaluate medical histories, analyze digital X-rays, take intraoral scans, and conduct thorough oral cancer screenings to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
Requirements
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
Current Virginia State Dental License and malpractice insurance.
Specialized Skills: Experience with emergencies, endo and surgical extractions is a plus.
Professionalism: A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make patients feel comfortable.
