Description
Lutheran Life Communities is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and mission-driven leader to serve as the Executive Director – Pleasant View, located in Ottawa, IL. This is a pivotal moment in the organization’s history, offering the incoming Executive Director (ED) a unique opportunity to help strategically position the organization for future success.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Lutheran Life Communities, the ED will prioritize business development and sales efforts at the community and drive occupancy. The new ED will ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare to residents, participate in and respond to all surveys and inspections, and work with the sales and marketing team to advance occupancy numbers through new partnerships, innovation, and strategic initiatives. The ED will also ensure all policies and procedures are in line with governmental guidelines. Driving resident engagement and new programs will be critical.

The ideal candidate for ED will have significant experience in aging services (LifePlan, Continuing Care Retirement Community, or Senior Housing strongly preferred) and a strong track record of driving occupancy and sales. Excellent listening and relationship-building skills, coupled with the ability to drive consensus and foster collaboration with residents, staff, and community partners, are essential for the role. In addition, the ED will possess a passion and commitment to improving the lives of older adults, aligned with Lutheran Life's mission, vision, and values.
