As the Physical Therapist, you will be completing assessments and evaluations of patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, you will work to help determine a treatment plan, perform interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well-being, and evaluate the patient's progress.

About the Arizona State Veterans Home (AZVH-Yuma): Located in West Yuma, AZ, this beautiful site stands as a testament to honoring those who have served. This state-owned and operated facility is divided into 60 long-term care beds, plus a 20-bed memory care unit. ASVH-Yuma features single occupancy rooms, each with an ADA-approved, en suite bathroom. Residents enjoy customized services, comfort, dignity and warm social connections through a variety of activities and outings with staff, other Veterans and the community. Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure requirements as established by state and national board associations.
- Active state license required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure. Screening requirements may vary by location.
